Elevo Group work on mine in Georgia advances at a good pace

Today, the first container was loaded with the necessary equipment for the WRD II Contaminated Water Treatment Plant in a copper mine, owned by a private company, in Kazreti, Georgia.

The facility being built by Elevo Group has the capacity to treat a flow of 10m3 / hour of water highly contaminated by heavy metals, originated from mining operations.

The structure was designed to work without interruption and can be operated remotely through an operation and control console with GSM connection. The operating data is obtained in real-time and the parameters can be readjusted according to the customer's needs.

It is the first equipment with these characteristics to be installed in Georgia and this will be the first mine in that country to have a contaminated water treatment plant, according to the best European criteria and requirements.

The execution of this Water Treatment Plant and the supply of this equipment is the result of a partnership between Elevolution Engenharia and a German technological company, with the support of a Portuguese engineering and environment office.
