Assuring the annual production of 250 thousand tonnes of paper and cellulose is the objective underlying the construction of the new Paper and Cellulose Factory, in which the Elevo Group is participating via the consortium PPE PRO-PLANTA. 

The new factory will rely on raw-materials extracted from the Pino Caribe plantations owned by the timber company EPS Maderas del Orinoco (previously Proforca). The new industrial unit will produce 200 tonnes of recycled paper and 780 tonnes of high-tech bleached thermodynamic chemical pulp on a daily basis as well as 250 thousand TPY of newspaper paper.

Considering that the printing paper needs of the Venezuelan market are currently estimated at 80 to100 thousand tonnes per annum, the new factory should be capable of satisfying the total demand of the internal market as well as of assuring a surplus to export to the Caribbean and South American markets.
