Elevo Engineering S.A was adjudicated the contract for the rehabilitation of leaks and ditches II and III of the Chókwè Irrigation which occurred when the floods took place in the beginning of 2013.

The rehabilitation of the dykes will consist of:

• The removal of contaminated soils adjacent to the leaks in the dykes as well as the soil surface layer in borrow sites;

• Digging in borrow appropriate soils and its spreading and compression for subsequent closure of the leaks in the dams;

• Repair of floodgates and of drainage devices.

This work will have an execution time of 4 months.
