12 years after having built this prestigious 4-start hotel, in one of the main avenues of the Portuguese capital, Avenida Fontes Pereira de Melo, Elevo is returning to expand the project. This contract includes excavation works, peripheral containment, foundations and structure to expand SANA Lisboa Hotel.

Technically speaking, one of the most demanding activities will connsist in the execution of a 800 meter wide curtain of posts embedded in the masonry wall, which will confine the Lisbon Metro tunnel to execute the underground structure of the building. To that extent, a partnership between Elevolution Engenharia and Tecnasol was agreed upon. This endeavor will fully draw on the synergies among Elevo Group’s companies.

The execution time is of 12 months.

The structure to be built is composed of 18 layers/slabs in a massive mushroom system with vertical elements, mostly on reinforced concrete walls.
